The basic process is the same for most of us. Unless you are trying to become an influencer on that specific social media platform.

We all actually want to pull the audience away from the platform to a platform we own.

Let’s say your run a small service business or you run a knowledge-based business online. It doesn’t matter actually what you do if you want to use social media to market your business.

What do I mean when I say a platform that you own? I’m referring to your website, a booking page, your email list, or similar platforms.

When social media users take the steps to visit your platforms they become sales leads. When they sign up for your email these leads start to warm up. And if they even take the step to book a sales call with you then it’s a hot lead you have.

The more action the lead takes, and the more he or she engages with you, the hotter they become as a lead.

But today social media is so saturated. A lot of businesses struggle with turning social media users into leads.
